研究室紹介
My English-language classes focus on two areas: Transnational Literature and Applied Humanities. In Transnational Literature, I look at multilingualism, translation studies, and how global phenomena and crises are presented in literature, philosophy, art, and film (https://herradheselhaus.weebly.com/transnational-literature-translation-studies.html). Applied Humanities is skill-oriented (translation/language proficiency, creative solution, critical thinking) and reconnects the study of literature to the society we live in (https://herradheselhaus.weebly.com/applied-humanities.html). Teaching includes the newest approaches and trends in global literary studies and humanities and offers literature from around the globe: Europe (German, Polish, Russian, French, Italian), US/UK, Near/Middle East (Arab and Jewish) and Japan.
メッセージ
Motto: Multi-perspective, heteroglot, in-depth and peregrinate.
If you're not afraid of intellectual dizziness, let's roam together through literary space and conceptual galaxies!
